Craigslist comes to St. Louis
Craigslist.com, a bulletin board-style Web site offering job prospects as well as postings offering a wide range of goods and services, has added St. Louis to the list of cities it serves. The site, founded in 1995 by Craig Newmark, has become one of the most effective job sites in the San Francisco Bay area. Over the years the site has grown to include many major U.S. cities. Although it has become very popular, Craigslist.com remains no-frills and non-commercial, with no banner advertising.
